Their will be 10 NBA teams that will be tanking this coming season trying to get that number 1 draft spot. This number 1 draft spot is highly coveted because the guy that is projecting to go in that spot is Victor Wembanyama. Victor is a legit 7'4" and can literally do everything on the floor. If he stays healthy I'm predicting any team that drafts him will get to the 7th seed during his rookie season and he will be the rookie of the year. If I had my choice, I would love to see him in Charlotte with LaMelo. I also think he would be a great fit in Dallas and Portland. I don't see Charlotte, Portland, or Dallas making the playoffs this season. The 2023 NBA draft should be interesting. This just means that the 2022-23 NBA season will be one for the record books because we are already talking about the number 1 draft pick. Victor will make an impact right away. We will have to wait and see if he will become the G.O.A.T though. With that said, the race is on.
